Many practitioners are unfamiliar with the measurement USP, which is a standard pharmacological measurement. It is a dose unit recommended by the United States Pharmacopiea. With digestive enzymes just listing the weight (so 150 mg) is meaningless as you really need to compare the active units of the enzymes. So we have listed the USP for Protease, Amylase and Lipase so that you can establish the activity levels for the enzmyes. Just looking at the mg when comparing digestive enzymes lets you know the weight, not the activity level, so, for this product we have listed the USP as well.
